No. Each line can be shared, yours, your partner's or left out. Only what's shared counts when you even out.

What if Sambo reads something wrong?

You can change a line before you add the receipt, or take a new photo. Sambo tells you if the lines don't add up to the total.

The receipt is read on your phone, not on a server. What you save stays in your own iCloud, and we cannot see it.
