About Sambo
Sambo was created by two people who live together – out of questions that came up in our own everyday life, again and again. Questions about money, shopping and plans that each took a minute, but together took up more room than they should.
Who paid the electricity last month? Is milk on the list, or did you already buy it? When was dinner at our friends'? Where did we put the insurance letter? The answers were in chats, notes, spreadsheets – and in the head of whichever of us happened to remember.
We looked for an app that brought the practical side into one place. What we found was made for friends splitting a trip, or for household budgets with categories and charts. Nothing was made for two people sharing a home and everyday life.
What we believe in
The relationship comes first
Sambo takes care of the practical things around you, not of you. The goal is keeping things even – not keeping score.
Your data is yours
Everything is stored in your own iCloud. We have no server of our own, show no ads and never sell data.
Sambo never moves money
You transfer the way you usually do. The app just keeps track.
Made for two
No roles and no assumptions about who does what. Just two people sharing a home.
That's why we built Sambo – first for ourselves, and now for everyone else who lives together. We hope you'll explore the app, and that it gives you a little less to keep track of and a little more time for each other.
